At Clinch Valley Health, our patients are our top priority. OBGYN services are open and fully staffed to care for your women’s health needs, including throughout your pregnancy and delivery. You will have appointments scheduled with all of our obstetric providers, as any one of them may be attending your delivery.

Our labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum (LDRP) rooms offer patients an atmosphere more like home than a hospital and the latest in state-of-the-art equipment.
Our Team
We have an excellent medical staff of obstetricians and pediatricians, as well as experienced and well-trained nurses who welcome hundreds of babies in the world each year. The physicians and nursing staff here are committed to your health and hope to make your pregnancy and birth a wonderful experience. Our staff is always on call and is happy to answer your questions 24 hours a day.

Planning
In case your baby arrives early, we suggest packing for your hospital stay at least three weeks before your due date. While the list of items needed vary from woman to woman, we suggest:
For Mom:
- Comfortable nightgowns
- Toiletries such as shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
- Robe and slippers
- Going-home outfit (loose fitting)
For Baby:
- Receiving blanket
- Going-home outfit
- Car seat
For Support Person:
- Camera
- Insurance information and numbers
- Phone numbers and email addresses of family/friends
- Extra change of clothes
- Toiletry kit
- Books and magazines
