Common types of wounds we treat
Wounds that won't heal can have many causes. Common reasons for non-healing wounds can be:

A hyperbaric approach
Most wounds will heal with proper treatment. For patients whose wounds do not heal under normal conditions, Clinch Valley Medical Center offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy and another path to treatment.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves a patient breathing 100% pure oxygen for periods of time determined by their physician. The purpose is to provide more oxygen to tissue which can aid in the healing process.
