Clinch Valley Health's First Baby of 2024

Clinch Valley Health is ringing in 2024 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 6 pounds and 1.8 ounces and measuring 19 3/4 inches, baby boy, Cayde Paul Matthew, was born to parents Kaley and Justin, on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd, at 11:23 am.

 

Dr. Ethelian Cammock was the attending physician and Dr. Margaret Honeycutt was the attending physician for the baby.  A gift basket was presented to the parents and baby from Clinch Valley Health's Auxiliary.

“We have a remarkable team of clinical and support staff who are dedicated to cultivating a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for mothers and their babies on holidays and year-round,” said Director of Women’s and Infant Services Theresa Blankenship, RNC-OB. “Helping our community’s families welcome their newest additions in a positive and memorable way is one of our greatest privileges.”
