Clinch Valley Health Assistant Administrator Sherpri Giles Small

Sherpri Giles Small is a seasoned healthcare administrator with a wealth of experience in physician practice operations and healthcare leadership. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Sherpri recently relocated from Columbus, Georgia, and currently serves as the Assistant Administrator at Clinch Valley Health, where she oversees multiple key departments, including Imaging, Laboratory, Cardiopulmonary, and more. In this role, she is committed to enhancing operational efficiency and delivering quality healthcare to the community.

Before joining Clinch Valley Health, Sherpri was the Administrative Director of Physician Practice Operations at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, a role she held since April 2017. Her leadership experience extends to her tenure as Market Director of Physician Services at St. Francis Emory Healthcare, where she helped drive operational excellence and fostered strong partnerships between physicians and hospital leadership.

Sherpri's diverse career also includes serving as Associate Administrator at Franklin Primary Health, Director of Practice Management for Alabama at LifePoint Health®, Clinic Director at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, and administrative positions at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving healthcare delivery and outcomes in the communities she serves.

A passionate advocate for her community, Sherpri has been actively involved with several nonprofit boards, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Girls Incorporated of Columbus, Phenix-Russell Inc., and Easterseals West Georgia. Her leadership and volunteer efforts reflect her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Sherpri holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications and Theatre from Tennessee State University. She has also completed leadership development programs and actively participates in professional organizations to continue growing as a healthcare leader.

Sherpri has been happily married to Travis Small for over 15 years, and together they are the proud parents of two-year-old twin daughters, Dallas Paige and Lennox Raine. In her free time, Sherpri enjoys reading, traveling, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
