Clinch Valley Health Welcomes Tammy Hurley, FNP-BC

Clinch Valley Health announced that Tammy Hurley, FNP-BC has joined Clinch Valley Health’s team and will be serving patients at Clinch Valley Physicians Associates.

“We are pleased to welcome Tammy to the Clinch Valley team,” said Clinch Valley Health CEO Peter Mulkey. “Tammy’s extensive nursing experience and proven record of connecting with patients will be a strong asset to our healthcare team.”

Hurley has been a nurse for 25 years. Her nursing career began in Birmingham, Alabama, and then transitioned to Clinch Valley Medical Center. At CVMC she worked primarily in the emergency department and the intensive care unit. Most recently, Hurley worked as a nurse practitioner in the nursing home setting. Hurley said, “I am looking forward to a new chapter in my nursing career, as well as reconnecting with past coworkers and patients.”

Hurley specializes in general health, arthritis, sick visits, diabetes, geriatrics, immunization, blood pressure and preventive medicine.  She is accepting new patients and appointments can be made by calling 276.964.1281.
