Clinch Valley Health Welcomes Holly Blankenship, FNP-BC

Clinch Valley Health announced that Holly Blankenship FNP-BC has transitioned from a registered nurse in Clinch Valley’s Advanced Wound Center to a family nurse practitioner. Holly will serve patients at Clinch Valley Center for Diabetes and Internal Medicine. She will also continue serving patients at the Advanced Wound Center.
“We are excited for Holly to join our team as a family nurse practitioner,” said Clinch Valley Health CEO Peter Mulkey. “Many people will recognize Holly from Clinch Valley’s Advanced Wound Center. She has spent the majority of her career working in wound care and already has strong connections with the community. Holly’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and her ability to build relationships with her patients will certainly be a valuable addition to our team.”
Blankenship has a degree from Southwest Virginia Community College and a graduate degree from Walden University. Blankenship said, “At a young age I fell in love with nursing when I was helping to care for my grandfather. Having that experience makes me realize what both patients and family members go through.”
Blankenship specializes in wound care, diabetes, diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, debridement, general health, and immunization. She is accepting new patients and appointments can be made by calling 276.596.9510. Clinch Valley Center for Diabetes and Internal Medicine is located in the medical office building located behind Clinch Valley Medical Center. The Advanced Wound Center is located on the fourth floor of Clinch Valley Medical Center.
