Clinch Valley Family and Specialty Care of Bluefield's Nurse Practitioner Wendy Lawless talks the importance patient-centered care with WVVA's Clayton McChesney at the inaugural Health and Wellness Expo at the Tazewell County Fairgrounds. 

More than ten area healthcare organizations and businesses came together at the Health and Wellness Expo to allow participants to promote health and wellness in Tazewell County. 

Wendy Lawless, FNP said, "...It's all about making it better and easier for the patient."  Lawless added educating the community on what healthcare services are available close to home and reducing travel time in order to access quality healthcare is best for patients.
