Welcome OBGYN Alexandra Matthews, MD

Clinch Valley Health announced that OBGYN Alexandra Matthews, MD has joined Clinch Valley Health’s team and will be serving patients at Clinch Valley Physicians Associates.

Dr. Matthews is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI. She went to medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Some of her interests include competitive deep sea fishing, swimming, spear-fishing, and diving. She also enjoys cooking and entertaining.

Dr. Matthews specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology, care during pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum, contraception, screening for cervical & breast cancer, menopause management, as well as well woman services. Dr. Matthews also offers minimally invasive surgery for treatment of conditions of the reproductive systems. She is accepting new patients and appointments can be made by calling 276.964.1293.
