Miraculous Outcome for Mother and Baby Thanks to Teamwork and Preparedness
March 15, 2024A code was called to OB/GYN at Clinch Valley Health when patient Courtney Thomas, a 36-week pregnant woman was rushed to the emergency department after suffering seizures and other medical complications. While preventing emergency situations altogether is the best-case scenario, the second-best scenario is recognizing an emergent situation and acting quickly - which is what happened with Clinch Valley Health medical team, ultimately saving two lives.
